Hi, I’m Rose and I’m so glad you’ve come over to say Hello!

You’re here, so let’s start by me telling you a little bit about myself: I’ve been colouring and cutting my own hair since I was about 11 years old (and my sisters, cousins, friends, friends barbies…you get the idea) since before I can remember, it’s literally always been “the thing I do”. There is nothing I love more than making people feel great about themselves and how they look in the mirror. My very first job at a salon I was asked in the interview…why do I do hair? My answer then is the same as it is now “I love giving people back their hair” So often we just have the wrong cut or color for our hair, budget, personality…when we get that right..magic!

I am deeply committed to making you feel seen and heard when you’re in my chair. That’s why I have both a private studio and only serve one guest at a time, no double bookings! I want you to feel completely safe and at ease when we’re working with your hair; if you say you only want 2 mm off, that’s exactly what I’m taking off. I want you to love your hair, no matter what it is you want, and I’m amazing at listening and giving you your dream hair!

As a kid I went to eight different elementary schools, in 9 cities and 2 countries?! That experience definitely brought out my ability to learn how to connect with new people quickly, and it’s been so great as an adult (not so much as a kid) ;) but something that is so wonderful when meeting my new clients!

Of all the places I’ve ever lived, without a doubt, and where i feel most at home, is here in Vancouver and of course my love…Maui, a place that will forever and always have my heart! My love and deep connection to the ocean is something I am forever grateful for. The ocean (and any natural water) is just so extraordinary and healing and thanks to my parents crazy moving I got to see so much of it (Lake Michigan is no joke!!) I’ve cultivated and am grateful to have such a deep love of nature and the outdoors. On our days off you can usually find me and the hubby (and our sweet puppy Gus) out in the forest, by the ocean, or on a hike! But, the other truth is…I’m also a major homebody, cuddling up on the couch in front of a great movie is actually my idea of the perfect night!

When you come to see me I know you’re going to love the private little oasis in the city that we’ve made here. It’s a place where you can just let the workweek, kids, daily crazy go and enjoy some dedicated self care! You’re going to leave feeling and looking like your best self (and wishing you could take me with you just to get my famous scalp massages!).
